Gary is the engine room of the team, a pure battler in midfield. However, to descibe him as just a ball winner would be unjust as he is very capable in possession and regularly turns himself out of trouble with neat footwork. Gary has been at the club for about 10 years and in this time has established himself as one of their most consistant performers. He was Groats Player of the Year last year; and is also Thurso FC\'s Players Player of the Year which shows how important his work is to his fellow team-mates.
